## Description

WhichGrocer is an independent Australian grocery price-comparison service designed to help shoppers find lower prices and save on everyday purchases. It compares products across Woolworths, Coles, ALDI, IGA, Chemist Warehouse, Priceline and other supported retailers, with search results sorted by unit price for fairer comparisons. Shoppers can also use its free Chrome extension to see whether a better price is available while browsing participating stores.

The platform offers tools to make grocery planning easier, including favourites, shopping lists that assign items to the cheapest store, and current specials organised by department. Users can set a target price for a product and receive an email when a retailer offers it at that price. Personalised weekly emails highlight cheaper prices on favourited items and provide shopping lists tailored to the stores users shop at. WhichGrocer also provides multi-store price history charts to help shoppers choose realistic targets. The service reports more than 5,000 daily price checks and average reported savings of $87 per shop, giving shoppers practical ways to compare prices and plan purchases.
