## Description

Whippet Health Foundation is a renowned brand that focuses on the long-term health of Whippets, a beloved breed of dogs. Established in 1999 as a 501-c3 non-profit corporation, their mission is to provide financial and other support to individuals and organizations dedicated to the well-being of dogs, particularly Whippets. The foundation aims to advance the understanding of various diseases, genetic anomalies, injuries, and other ailments that affect all dogs, with a special focus on Whippets. They support and promote research in these areas, as well as the genetics and breeding of Whippets. In addition, the foundation aims to develop a comprehensive database of health and scientific educational resources related to Whippets. Their ultimate goal is to ensure the proper care, breeding, health, and development of these wonderful dogs. Whippet Health Foundation also accepts grant and project proposals from deserving organizations and individuals, with funding decisions based on the availability of funds and the worthiness of the projects proposed. Their work is funded through tax-deductible donations, and they prefer to make grants where their contribution can have a significant impact. By collaborating with other donors and organizations, they leverage their resources to maximize support for Whippet-related projects.
