## Description

Whisper is a network identity and controlled-egress platform for AI agents, built around real, routable IPv6 addresses. It assigns each agent its own /128 identity from a RIPE-allocated prefix and lets operators set per-agent DNS, firewall, and egress policies. The service is designed to make agent network activity attributable and independently verifiable, without relying on bearer tokens, a proprietary SDK, or an account for outside verification.

Whisper serves AI labs and agent builders, API providers, managed security teams, and fleet or crawler operators. Its tools include an agent CLI for creating, registering, listing, logging, and revoking identities; a DNS-over-HTTPS resolver that applies policy while agents connect directly to destinations; and an egress proxy supporting SOCKS5 or HTTP CONNECT, with TLS maintained end to end. Operators can apply controls such as category or geographic restrictions, route validation, and budget limits. Identity details can be checked using standard DNS, WHOIS, and OpenSSL tools, while DNSSEC and a public verification ledger support independent auditing. Whisper states that its infrastructure operates under AS219419.
