# WhiteCoats4BlackLives - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `whitecoats4blacklives.org` ## Description White Coats for Black Lives (WC4BL) is dedicated to dismantling racism in the field of medicine and advocating for the health of Black people and other people of color. Our mission is to eradicate racism and the oppressive systems that exist within the health industry, while also working towards collective liberation that prioritizes the needs and self-determination of marginalized communities. We firmly believe in long-term, transformative change and do not support reformist policies. Our work is focused on dismantling exploitative systems and rebuilding a future that promotes the well-being of marginalized communities. We envision a world where Black people have the autonomy and resources to lead healthy lives on their own terms, and where society's well-being is rooted in the health of the most marginalized. We are committed to organizing and direct action that prioritizes collective power over individual gain. Join us in our fight for a more equitable and just healthcare system.
