## Description

White Coffee Co. is an independent coffee house in Ipoh’s Old Town, serving Malaysian coffee and neighbourhood hospitality since 2013. Located in a pre-war shophouse on Jalan Sultan Iskandar, it offers a relaxed place for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a slow afternoon at its communal table. Founders Mei Ling Chong and Farid Rahman run the café, with a small team preparing drinks and food.

The café roasts Malaysian and regional beans in small batches each Tuesday, sourcing from growers across the peninsula and Southeast Asia. Its menu features traditional Ipoh white coffee, iced coffee, flat whites, long blacks, weekly pour-overs, kopi, and teh tarik. Kitchen favourites include kaya toast with eggs, nasi lemak, and lunch-only Ipoh-style curry mee, alongside freshly baked banana bread and pandan chiffon. Take-home 250-gram bags of the current roast are available at the counter.

White Coffee Co. is open daily, with extended evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays. The kitchen closes before the café, and table reservations are available.
