## Description

White Lotus Charitable Trust (WLCT), founded in 1993 by renowned Buddhist teacher and filmmaker Khyentse Norbu, is dedicated to providing equitable access to quality education for all children in India, with a special focus on empowering girls. Operating primarily in Mewat, one of the most challenging districts for gender equality, WLCT has established significant national linkages through organizations like NCPCR and RTE forum. The organization adopts a comprehensive approach, believing that education, training, and care collectively lead to empowerment. WLCT runs several impactful programs, including the Education Quality Addition (EQU+) initiative, Kapadia Scholarships, and comprehensive nutrition and health services through projects like Nutrition for Education. With an experienced team led by trustees like Parmod Sinha and Sabrina R. Nagpal, WLCT is committed to fostering long-term social justice and development, particularly in lower-income communities. Join White Lotus Trust in their mission to create a more equitable society where every child has the opportunity for a quality education and improved health services.
