## Description

Whitemarsh Boat Club is a rowing organization and community based on the upper Schuylkill River, serving athletes across the Delaware Valley. Welcoming people from age 12 to 87, the club offers opportunities for beginners and experienced rowers alike, with a focus on sportsmanship, friendship, well-being, and personal growth. Its programs help participants build leadership, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and confidence through recreational and competitive rowing.

Adult offerings include Learn to Row, Learn to Erg, Masters Technical Team, Masters Club Row, a U23 summer program, and a Masters Race Team. Youth programs include a high school competitive race team, a middle school and technical team, and Learn to Row camps. The club also offers corporate team-building activities and WeCanRow-Philly, a recreational rowing program for breast cancer survivors that welcomes women at any fitness level and stage of recovery.

Whitemarsh Boat Club aims to make rowing accessible to a broad community, providing a supportive setting where members can develop their skills, form lasting connections, and enjoy the sport together.
