White Pony Express is a volunteer-powered 501(c)(3) organization that aims to eliminate hunger and poverty by connecting those with surplus to those in need. With a vision to build on the generous nature of people, White Pony Express believes that when this consciousness is widespread, hunger and poverty will cease to exist. Since its inception, White Pony Express has rescued and delivered over 18 million pounds of nutritious food, equivalent to 15 million meals, preventing more than 17,000 tons of CO2 emissions from entering the air.

Serving 120,000 individuals annually through 80 partner agencies, the organization strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing food insecurity. White Pony Express operates on the belief that love is the most powerful force in the universe and aims to create a world where helping one another is natural and instinctive. Through their volunteer-powered circle of giving model, they strive to make a difference in Contra Costa County and beyond
