White Rainbow Project is a nonprofit 501(c)3 humanitarian organization based in Temecula, CA. We are dedicated to transforming the lives of widows in India who have been abandoned, abused, and exploited. These widows, often married off at a young age and left with children, face immense hardships and societal stigma after the death of their husbands.

In the city of Vrindavan, known as the City of Widows, thousands of widows are left to live out their lives in devotion to the Hindu god, Krishna. Instead of finding solace and support, they are forced into prostitution or expected to chant for hours daily in exchange for meager rations. White Rainbow Project aims to bring hope and restoration to these widows by providing them with love, hope, job skills, counseling, food, and medical care.

We partner with centers of learning to empower and employ widows, giving them sustainable life skills and a chance at a better future.
