## Description

Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation is a nonprofit breast cancer charity based in Rocklin, California, serving residents of Placer County and supporting women facing breast cancer. Founded in 2012 by ten friends from the Whitney Ranch community, the organization was created in response to the loss of Debra, whose impact continues to inspire its work. The foundation focuses on community support, fundraising, and expanding opportunities to give back.

Its signature event is the annual Strokes4Hope Golf Tournament, which raises funds for Dr. Hope Rugo, the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation, and Placer County residents. The foundation also supports breast cancer-related programs and mammography events, local high school scholarships, and research at UCSF. It aims to develop additional initiatives, including a program that encourages children to contribute to their communities.

Community members can support the foundation by volunteering, donating, or becoming individual or corporate sponsors. Through these activities and partnerships, Whitney Ranch Charitable Foundation works to strengthen local support for people affected by breast cancer and broaden its impact across the region.
