## Description

Whittingham Show is a traditional village event held on the third Saturday in August in Whittingham, near Alnwick, UK. Welcoming families and visitors, the show brings together local exhibitors, traders, performers and community supporters for a lively day out. Its exhibition marquee is a central feature, showcasing horticultural, baking, craft, art, photography and other local entries.

The programme offers a broad mix of activities and entertainment, including a sheep show, dog rally, falconry display, musicians, steelband, children’s games and sports, archery and a funfair. Visitors can also browse trade stalls and crafts, and enjoy refreshments and a bar. Adults pay £5 for admission, while children under 16 enter free. Car parking is free, and dogs are welcome.

The show is supported by volunteers, class sponsors, equipment suppliers and participants in its weekly ’59 Club’ fundraiser. Those interested in helping, booking a trade stand or joining the club can contact the Show Committee by email. Whittingham Show takes place at the show field on Whittingham Lane, NE66 4RJ.
