## Description

Wholesome Games is a brand that specializes in curating and promoting uplifting, compassionate, and cozy games. Led by indie game developer Matthew Taylor, the Wholesome Games community has grown to nearly 500k members across various platforms like Twitter, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Their goal is to challenge the notion that only games with dark themes are taken seriously and instead showcase the breadth of experiences that games can offer. The definition of a wholesome game is subjective and can vary from person to person, but Wholesome Games aims to highlight games that evoke feelings of comfort, compassion, and coziness. They produce the annual Wholesome Direct indie game showcase, which shines a spotlight on new and upcoming games that are uplifting and thoughtful. Join the Wholesome Games community and discover a world of hopeful video games with rich storytelling, innovative gameplay, and beautiful art and sound.
