## Description

WHO-Afro is a pivotal regional office focused on enhancing health outcomes across Africa through innovative digital health interventions. Their flagship initiatives include the Polio Eradication Programme, which employs technologies like AVADAR for Auto Visual AFP Detection and Reporting, ensuring swift response to outbreaks.

WHO-Afro also champions Integrated Supportive Supervision (ISS), utilizing an electronic checklist to optimize active case searches and routine immunizations, while Environmental Surveillance (ES) uses systematic sewage sample collection for disease tracking. To strengthen community immunity, Supplemental Immunization Activities (SIAs) are conducted in response to vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments.

In addition, the office collaborates with Ona, a platform designed to facilitate effective data management for health organizations and teams. Ona provides offline-capable forms that capture essential data seamlessly and ensures privacy and data security. Their skilled support team offers unparalleled assistance across 14 time zones, making WHO-Afro a key player in transforming health landscapes in Africa.
