## Description

Wicwas Press is a renowned family-owned publishing brand that specializes in books on beekeeping. With a rich history dating back to the 1970s, Wicwas Press has established itself as a trusted source of educational and informative literature on bees and beekeeping practices. The company initially started as the Beekeeping Education Service, selling audio-visual programs at beekeeping conferences. In 1978, it evolved into Wicwas Press when Roger and Mary Lou Morse created the publishing company. Since then, Wicwas Press has published a variety of books, including works by contemporary authors and bee experts, as well as reprints of significant historical beekeeping books and fiction. Today, Wicwas Press operates out of Kalamazoo, MI, and is run by Dr. Lawrence J. Connor, who purchased the company in 1989. Assisted by Andrew Connor and his wife Darcy, the company continues to thrive, with a dedicated team of professionals handling editing, website management, and daily operations. Wicwas Press is highly regarded in the beekeeping community, and its publications are trusted resources for both beginner and advanced beekeepers.
