## Description

IG Group is a leading online trading company known for its diverse range of financial services. With a workforce of approximately 2,300 employees, IG is currently undergoing a substantial restructuring effort to streamline its operations. This initiative includes consolidating its consumer operations across regions, which will unfortunately result in job cuts affecting multiple countries, including the UK, Poland, France, and Germany. The company aims to create a more efficient organization under the newly formed division, IG Consumer, which will incorporate various consumer-facing technology teams and operations.

In addition to its trading services, IG is expanding its offerings through strategic acquisitions, such as the planned purchase of the US prediction markets operator Underdog. As IG Group navigates the evolving landscape of the financial trading industry, it remains focused on improving customer service while adjusting to market pressures. The company is positioned to adapt to changing dynamics in the trading sector, ensuring it meets the needs of its clientele through innovative solutions and robust platforms.
