## Description

WikiIndex is the ultimate resource for all things wiki-related, serving as the index of all wikis out there. Founded in 2006 by John Stanton, Mark Dilley, and Raymond King, WikiIndex aims to catalog every current and former wiki on the internet. With over 22,000 articles about wikis and 4,787 files uploaded, WikiIndex provides a comprehensive directory utilizing various categorization systems to help users explore the vast wikisphere. As a collaborative platform, WikiIndex allows anyone to edit and contribute to its content, fostering a community-driven environment. Not to be confused with an encyclopedia, directory, or business listing, WikiIndex focuses solely on indexing wiki websites powered by wiki software. Whether you're a wiki enthusiast, creator, or researcher, WikiIndex is the go-to hub to discover, explore, and map the diverse world of wikis. Join us in this collective effort to uncover and showcase the dynamic landscape of wikis worldwide!
