## Description

WikiTanks is a Spanish-language online encyclopedia dedicated to tanks, armored warfare and heavy weapons. Its reference material covers the Second World War and the ongoing war in Ukraine, with more than 2,252 articles available. Readers can explore dedicated indexes, a complete article directory and introductory guides to subjects such as armored vehicle types, armor, anti-tank weapons and armor-piercing ammunition.

The site’s articles profile vehicles, weapons, military organizations and historical battles, while regular updates add new entries and improve existing coverage. Its Ukraine section serves as a guide to heavy armament used in the conflict, complementing the extensive historical material on World War II. WikiTanks also invites visitors to collaborate and provides contact channels for readers and sponsors.

The project is maintained by Adrián Hermida and supported through donations and sponsorships. Contributions help sustain the encyclopedia and reduce the number of advertisements; donors may also request an expansion of an article that interests them. The site additionally features its sponsors and links to a store offering Adrián Hermida’s products.
