Women in Logistics - Africa (WILA) is a nonprofit association established in April 2021 and registered under the number 1383 at the Office of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. With a network of over 350 women based in more than 10 African countries, WILA focuses on the logistics/supply chain industry. However, women from other industries who share an interest are also welcomed to join. WILA is made up of professional women who recognize the crucial role that the logistics/supply chain sector plays in the social and economic development of our countries. Their objectives include showcasing women in the supply chain/logistics field across Africa, creating business opportunities both on and beyond the continent, implementing programs to promote the sector among young people and women, and advocating for female leadership in the logistics industry.
