## Description

Wild Sprouts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Knoxville, Maryland, offering year-round, nature-based programs for children from early childhood through age 15. Its mission is to give every child the opportunity to learn, play, and explore outdoors while nurturing curiosity and respect for the natural environment. Guided by educators, Wild Sprouts creates welcoming opportunities for child-led discovery and hands-on learning.

Programs include nature classes for children ages 2–8, running from September through May in small groups led by a teacher and supported by an aide or volunteer. Homeschool classes for ages 5–8 are taught by a certified teacher and offer co-op options in math and reading alongside nature enrichment. Tinkergarten introduces walking children and older participants to outdoor learning through play, movement, and exploration. Summer camps feature farm experiences, animal care, nature walks, crafts, and outdoor games, with a Counselor in Training program for ages 10–15 that offers leadership development.

Wild Sprouts also hosts community events, provides family resources, and offers a gear library.
