Wild and Free Foundation (WFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth and communities living near national parks and wildlife reserves in Africa. Our mission is to reduce the dependence on poaching of the African rhino and wildlife by providing sport and economic opportunities. We firmly believe that when 21st-century economic prospects are available in rural communities, poaching will drastically decrease.

WFF is committed to creating a prosperous perimeter around these protected areas to ensure the well-being of both people and wildlife. One of our flagship initiatives is the Rhino Cup Champions League (RCCL), an amateur football league located in rural communities surrounding national parks and wildlife reserves in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. Started in 2016 with 12 men's teams, the league has grown exponentially, now encompassing 84 men's, women's, and youth teams with over 1,700 players and coaches.

The RCCL not only promotes the beautiful game of football but also fosters economic opportunities through jobs, prize money, and small business development. Our ultimate goal is to protect the African rhinoceros from extinction by transforming communities away from poaching. Through the RCCL, we spread awareness about rhinos and contribute to the development of young people in rural Africa.

Furthermore, our organization aims to increase the enrollment of youth in football skill-training programs and educational courses by 25% in targeted areas by 2025. Wild and Free Foundation relies on donations and corporate sponsorships to sustain its vital work.
