They have a strong focus on preserving and restoring wild lands and waters across Arizona and beyond. WILD Arizona offers a range of programs and services to fulfill their mission of protecting, uniting, and restoring wild nature.

They organize and amplify voices of support for legislation and special designations, advocate for science-based environmental policy and planning, and cultivate stewardship, social/environmental awareness, and well-being through outdoor volunteerism, science, and education. One of their major initiatives is the Wild Connections program, which aims to establish regional-scale wildlife corridors, such as Wilderness areas, Wildlife Conservation Areas, and National Monuments.
