## Description

Wildcat Youth Hockey Association (WYHA) is a community-based youth hockey organization serving Waunakee, DeForest, Lodi, Poynette, and surrounding Wisconsin communities. It gives young players opportunities to participate in hockey while emphasizing skill development, goal-setting, and good sportsmanship on and off the ice. The association reports seven state championships, 98 state tournament berths, and 46 state-placed winners.

WYHA offers programs for a range of ages and experience levels, including Wildcat Youth Hockey, girls’ hockey, and the Wildcat Rookie Academy. Teams include 6U and 8U mites, 10U squirts, 12U peewees, and 14U bantams, with A, B, and C divisions where available. Additional development opportunities include dryland training and goalie sessions for different age groups.

The association also organizes events such as Try Hockey for Free, the Wildcat Classic tournaments, Mite-cicle Mayhem, and the U6 Scramble in the Dells. Players, families, coaches, team managers, and officials can access resources, policies, equipment scholarship information, apparel, and community service opportunities through WYHA.
