## Description

Wild Rumpus is an annual Halloween celebration in downtown Athens, Georgia, bringing the community together for a lively parade and street festival. The 18th annual event is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2026, and welcomes people of all ages. Participants are invited to dress in costume and join the parade, while attendees can enjoy music, dance parties, performers, food, and drinks in a festive, fantasy-inspired setting. Admission is free. Guests must be 21 or older with valid ID and purchase a wristband to drink beer or wine in the designated festival zone; alcohol is not permitted in the parade.

The celebration also includes the Rumpus Rally, an official pre-parade meetup at Creature Comforts Brewery, and two official after-parties at Paloma Park Athens: The Midnight Howl and The Rumpus Rave. Wild Rumpus offers event merchandise, including T-shirts, posters, and other items, and invites supporters to volunteer, perform, donate, or become sponsors.
