## Description

The Corporal Christopher Kelly Willis Foundation, founded in 2004, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of Corporal Christopher Kelly Willis, a proud Marine who lost his life. Committed to supporting children of U.S. Armed Services members killed or permanently disabled in combat, the foundation primarily focuses on providing college scholarships to these deserving individuals, helping them navigate their education amidst significant hardship. The mission, encapsulated in the motto Great Rewards for Great Warriors, reflects the foundation's larger goal: to uplift the families who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. All initiatives are managed by a dedicated team of volunteers, ensuring that a significant portion of donations directly benefits scholarship recipients. In addition to scholarships, the foundation offers educational resources and support networks for recipients and their families. Through outreach programs like the Heroes Salute to Service, the Willis Foundation continues to foster community support and appreciation for the sacrifices made by military families.
