## Description

The Williamstown Literary Festival, known as Willy Lit Fest, is an annual literary celebration based in Williamstown, Victoria. Established in 2003, it brings together readers, writers and other book creatives to share stories and explore literature in a historic seaside setting. Its program features author talks, panel discussions and writing workshops, offering opportunities for audiences to meet writers, discover new ideas and develop their own creative practice.

The festival also presents its long-running annual writing prizes, known as “The Adas,” named in honour of novelist, poet and memoirist Ada Cambridge. Cambridge lived in Williamstown from 1893 to 1912, and several of her celebrated works were written at Holy Trinity Vicarage. Willy Lit Fest continues to celebrate her life and literary legacy through special events, including a planned centenary-year celebration and the launch of the 2027 Adas.

The organisation shares festival highlights, past programs, photo galleries and information about its awards online.
