## Description

Windrush Farms is a Boer goat breeder based in New Sharon, Iowa, focused on helping customers improve their herds through high-quality goats and carefully managed breeding. Its program emphasizes predictable genetics, structural correctness, out-of-season breeding, and strong milking and mothering ability. The herd has maintained several bloodlines, including Kohls, Don Smith, Paul Payne with ANR, Jack Powell/Holman Sisters II, and the Windrush Farms line. The farm began showing goats in 2003, and award-winning animals continue to influence its herd.

Health is central to the breeding program. Windrush Farms has maintained a CAE-negative herd since 2004, tests does before kidding and outside bucks, and uses fecal testing to guide parasite treatment. Its planned out-of-season breeding program began in 2013, and does are selected for their ability to raise multiple kids, often triplets, without supplementation. Windrush Farms offers Boer goats for sale and invites prospective buyers to arrange a personalized farm visit to see the animals and discuss genetics for their herd.
