## Description

Windspeaker, owned by the Aboriginal Multi-Media Society of Alberta, has been at the forefront of Indigenous news and information for over four decades. Publishing online articles that focus on Indigenous issues, Windspeaker delves into the efforts Indigenous people are making to shape a better future for themselves and future generations. Led by Publisher Bert Crowfoot, Windspeaker aims to provide a platform for Indigenous voices and perspectives, offering critical insights on Indigenous Nation building and rebuilding in Canada. Established in 1983, Windspeaker evolved from a regional publication to the nation's primary source for Indigenous news and opinions. The Aboriginal Multi-Media Society prides itself on promoting Indigenous culture to a diverse audience through objective and balanced coverage. With expansions like CFWE-FM radio and online news services, Windspeaker continues to be a vital resource for Indigenous communities across Canada.
