## Description

Wingman is a flight companion app for iPhone and Apple Watch, created by a pilot for pilots. Designed for paragliding, it also supports paramotoring, hang gliding, sailplanes, ultralights and hot air balloons. The app brings essential flight instruments to a phone or watch, including a responsive variometer, wind estimator, ground speed, altitude and glide ratio. Pilots can optionally connect a Bluetooth vario or GPS.

Wingman automatically detects take-offs and landings, records flights and organizes them in a logbook with statistics and charts for reviewing performance. Its maps display nearby airspaces and alerts, while waypoints and task routes help pilots plan and follow a course. Live tracking lets users share their position with friends and family or compatible external services.

After a flight, users can replay their track over terrain in 3D and export videos featuring flight data. Social features include sharing flight summaries, viewing friends’ flights and comparing rankings and medals. Wingman also helps pilots manage wings, harnesses, reserves and instruments, track usage and record maintenance.
