## Description

WINGS Program, Inc. is an Illinois-based nonprofit working to end domestic violence and support adults and children escaping abuse. Serving the Chicago and Chicagoland area, WINGS offers a pathway toward safety, stability, and independence through housing, integrated services, education, and advocacy. Its services include 155 safe housing options, counseling and planning, and support for survivors and their children. The organization takes a holistic, strength-based approach, helping clients build on their abilities and plan for their futures. Its mentoring program provides continued support to people who have completed a two-year program and achieved self-sufficiency. WINGS also offers information about recognizing domestic abuse, assistance through local hospitals, and programs addressing traumatic brain injury. Beyond direct services, the organization promotes community education through speaker requests and awareness resources. Supporters can contribute through donations, volunteering, fundraising, pantry drives, and corporate or community involvement. WINGS also operates resale stores, giving community members another way to shop and support its programs. A 24-hour hotline is available for people seeking help.
