## Description

WINGS is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women who are making significant contributions to science, exploration, and conservation. Since its inception in 2003, WINGS has uniquely positioned itself as the sole entity providing unrestricted grants to female researchers, helping to bridge the gender gap in scientific fields where women are typically underrepresented. With over 200 grants awarded across more than 100 countries, WINGS not only supports individual scholars but also highlights the findings of women-led expeditions, augmenting their visibility in the scientific community.

Among its notable initiatives is the annual Women of Discovery Awards Gala, which celebrates extraordinary women whose explorations and research are leading to groundbreaking advancements in understanding and protecting the natural world. Additionally, WINGS runs programs such as the Trailblazing Women’s Art Contest and the Global Explorers Forum, further cultivating a network of aspiring female scientists and advocates. By choosing to support WINGS, you contribute directly to the future of women's achievements in science and exploration globally.
