## Description

WingTsun Berlin-Heiligensee is a community-minded self-defense school in Berlin, led by founder and head instructor Mehmet Yilmaz. The school teaches Wing Tsun, a Chinese martial art focused on practical, logical responses to real-world threats. Its approach aims to help students develop defensive movements into natural reactions, and does not require exceptional strength or fitness. Classes are designed to be welcoming and accessible to beginners and people with varied abilities.

The school offers small-group training for adults, children and teenagers, as well as sessions for seniors and people with disabilities. Adult classes take place in Berlin-Tegel, while children’s training for ages 7–13 is held in Heiligensee through Schutzbär. Students can also arrange private or small-group lessons, attend special weekend training, and enquire about women-only sessions, scenario-focused instruction, introductory self-defense workshops and corporate training packages. A free, no-obligation trial session introduces newcomers to the teaching approach. Yilmaz and his experienced instructors emphasize responsible self-defense, careful guidance and skills intended to support personal safety and confidence.
