## Description

Winona Area Youth Hockey Association (WAYHA) is a 501(c)(3) youth hockey organization serving children in Winona, Minnesota, and surrounding communities. Its program introduces young players to skating and hockey while encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game. Instruction begins with Learn-to-Skate sessions and continues through age-based teams, from Mini-Mites (U8) to Bantams (U14), offering opportunities for players at different stages of development.

WAYHA supports families with player registration, parent resources, training information, and tournament opportunities. It also hosts Try Hockey for Free events for children ages 4 to 9, providing a welcoming setting, trained coaching staff, and assistance for beginners. Its activities are centered at Bud King Ice Arena and are supported by the wider Winona hockey community.
