## Description

The Winslow Heritage Society is a membership organization dedicated to preserving the history and honoring the memory of the Winslow brothers who came to America during the Great Pilgrimage, beginning with the Mayflower voyage of 1620. Its work also supports the preservation of history relating to other Pilgrim families and encourages research into the descendants of Edward Winslow and connections among kindred families.

The Society provides genealogical resources, including family histories, ancestor profiles, descendant information, a Winslow Ancestor Gallery, and a Kenelm DNA project. It publishes newsletters, shares articles by members and book reviews, and offers opportunities for members to meet and learn about their shared heritage. The Society also aims to establish a family memorial fund and encourage and support genealogical DNA testing.

Membership is open to people who can document descent from a Winslow brother, another Mayflower pilgrim, or an ancient Winslow line. Members gather annually at the Mayflower Society General Congress in Plymouth, Massachusetts, or by teleconference.
