## Description

Wintertheater is a seasonal theatre and entertainment experience that has been part of Braunschweig’s Advent celebrations since 2011. Each year, a festive winter setting takes shape near St. Martini Church, centered on a red-canopied Spiegelzelt, where audiences can enjoy performances in a warm, atmospheric environment. The 2026 season marks the event’s 15th anniversary and is scheduled to run from November 6 to December 23, with around 60 performances.

The programme brings together seasonal stories, comedy and musical entertainment. Featured productions include Die Braunschweiger Weihnachtsgeschichte, Die Weihnachtsfeier, Engel Funky Xmas, Herr Eichhorn und der erste Schnee, Ox & Esel, Santa Mahoin, The Bingo Boys, Udo Jürgens… Unvergessen! and Winterklater 3.0. Visitors can explore the performance schedule, find information about the Spiegelzelt and frequently asked questions, and purchase tickets. Wintertheater also offers opportunities to hold events at the venue. An email newsletter shares presale announcements, news and behind-the-scenes insights, while anniversary extras and special merchandise are planned for the 2026 season.
