Wiser Conversations is a podcast brand founded by Derek Handley and joined by Creative Producer Ché Zara Blomfield in April 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. With the belief that there is no better time to reflect and respond to what truly matters to us during this pandemic, Wiser offers a platform for thought-provoking discussions. Hosted by the Aera Foundation, a New Zealand-registered charitable trust, Wiser engages a live online audience through Zoom, allowing attendees to connect with each other, the host, and submit questions for the guests. The recorded conversations are then edited and produced as a podcast, providing listeners with the opportunity to tune in and ponder the hard questions surrounding important topics.
