## Description

Wish Upon a Ballet is a dance education brand focused on making ballet welcoming, creative, and enjoyable for young children. Through its online school, it offers playful dance videos that invite little dancers to learn basic steps such as first position, plié, and tendu through imaginative themes and adventures. The online program is intended for children and teachers, with a free video available to new subscribers.

The brand also supports preschool dance teachers with books, articles, and practical resources on planning and leading classes, encouraging listening, and keeping students engaged. Parents can find guidance on preparing for a child’s first ballet class, what to expect, and the benefits of dance for children’s bodies and minds. Additional resources cover ballet terms, history, stories, famous dancers, supplies, and diversity in ballet.

Wish Upon a Ballet also offers in-person classes in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. These classes combine storytelling, imaginative movement, and simple ballet technique in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
