## Description

The Ludwig Wittgenstein Project is a dedicated online platform aimed at making the profound philosophical writings of Ludwig Wittgenstein available to a global audience. Established in late 2020 by Michele Lavazza, this not-for-profit initiative provides free access to Wittgenstein's works, which include both his published texts and posthumous writings that have been carefully edited by notable scholars. The project focuses on delivering high-quality digital reading editions in multiple languages, with the intent of making philosophical literature more accessible to students and the general public, regardless of their prior knowledge of Wittgenstein's theories.

Visitors to the Ludwig Wittgenstein Project can download a comprehensive collection of original-language editions and authorized translations free of charge, thus removing the financial barriers typically associated with academic texts. By adhering to principles of free culture and copyright compliance, the project not only fosters an appreciation for Wittgenstein's contributions to philosophy but also encourages a broader engagement with philosophical discourse around the world.
