## Description

World Junior Golf Rankings (WJGR) is a global ranking programme for junior golfers, offering a transparent framework for assessing players across countries and tournaments. Its rankings cover boys and girls and draw on results submitted by tournament organisers from junior strokeplay events. The scoring method combines scoring differential, field strength and finish quality, weighted at 65%, 25% and 10% respectively, across a rolling 52-week period. Rankings are calculated and published weekly on Thursdays.

WJGR provides players, parents and college coaches with access to player standings, tournament results and upcoming event schedules. Its listings include competitions in multiple countries and age categories, with event information such as dates, venues, formats and eligibility. The website also explains the ranking methodology and offers registration for junior players, while tournament organisers can apply to have eligible events included. By bringing rankings, results and schedules together, WJGR supports the tracking and comparison of junior golf performance and helps organisers connect their tournaments with a wider international audience.
