Wikimedia Ghana User Group, an affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, is dedicated to promoting Wikipedia and its sister wikis in Ghana. For the past 7 years, they have been focused on recruiting, training, and engaging Wikipedians to contribute to these platforms. As pioneers of Wikipedia community building in Ghana and parts of Sub-Saharan Africa, Wikimedia Ghana User Group aims to give every Ghanaian online the opportunity to discover and learn how to use and edit Wikipedia.
