## Description

WMSE is a renowned brand that has been leading the way in diverse music programming in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1981. Broadcasting on 91.7FM, WMSE is the go-to source for a wide selection of musical genres that can't be found anywhere else on the radio dial. With a team of dedicated community volunteers as their on-air staff, each specializing in their respective programs, WMSE offers an unparalleled listening experience. Not only does WMSE provide an outlet for local artists who may not receive commercial radio exposure, but it also serves as a valuable asset to the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). As a listener-supported frontier radio, WMSE operates independently from MSOE, with its funding coming from the WMSE listening community through membership contributions and area businesses through program underwriting. Listeners are encouraged to request their favorite music on any of WMSE's programs by calling the listener request line. Additionally, WMSE features a store where members can find exclusive merchandise. Stay connected with WMSE through their newsletter signup and immerse yourself in the vibrant and diverse world of music.
