About
Description
The Women's National Republican Club (WNRC) is the oldest national club for Republican women, providing its members with a distinguished clubhouse and a wide range of services. Founded in 1921 by Henrietta Wells Livermore, this historic organization was born out of the suffrage movement in New York State. After years of dedicated effort, the suffrage amendment was passed in 1917, allowing women in New York to vote by 1919.
Mrs. Livermore believed in providing women voters with political knowledge, leading to the establishment of WNRC. Located at 3 West 51st Street, New York, the WNRC clubhouse offers excellent dining, meeting facilities, and guest rooms for its members.
It has become a gathering place for Republican women from across the country, attracting members from every state and the District of Columbia. The Club hosts various events, including educational seminars, gala dinners, headliner luncheons, and the Annual Awards ceremony. With a rich history of hosting distinguished leaders and promoting Republican values, the Women's National Republican Club remains a vital institution empowering and supporting women in the political arena
