# Woche des Sehens - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `woche-des-sehens.de` ## Description Woche des Sehens is an annual awareness initiative held from October 8 to 15, bringing attention to blindness, visual impairment and eye health. Through events and information, it helps people learn about eye conditions and what life can be like with blindness or low vision. The initiative invites organizations and individuals to take part, including associations, medical practices, clinics, schools, businesses and other interested participants. Woche des Sehens provides practical support for planning local activities. Participants can list events in its online calendar and order free campaign materials. Its event guide offers tips and creative ideas to help organizers shape their own activities, while funding guidelines explain how to apply for reimbursement of expenses for regional events during the campaign week. The website also features information for teachers, press contacts, and resources on eye diseases and living with visual impairment, as well as games and films. By combining public events, educational materials and organizer support, Woche des Sehens encourages wider understanding of vision-related topics and promotes awareness of eye health. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - ⛑ Health Conditions and Concerns _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/WochedesSehens) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/wochedessehens) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYV63dbZN/w/1017/h/223/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790482248844) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYV63dbZN/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790482249012) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Regal Blue | #004078 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Viking | #7fb4da | light | ## Fonts - var(--f-1) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
