## Description

Wolkenzauber Alpakas is a small, owner-led alpaca experience in Haren (Ems), in Germany’s Emsland region. Founded by Nina Poelmeyer, the business brings people and animals together through tiergestützte Pädagogik (animal-assisted education) and children’s birthday celebrations. Its gentle, curious alpacas help create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, supporting moments of connection, reassurance and enjoyment.

Nina is a qualified care worker and trained specialist in animal-assisted therapy and interventions. Her work combines this professional background with her experience in the alpaca world, where she has been involved in halter training, walks and following the development of young alpacas. Three alpacas came to live with her in February 2024.

For children, Wolkenzauber offers birthday experiences with the alpacas, designed around adventure, fun and memorable encounters. The business also provides animal-assisted educational activities, drawing on the animals’ soothing presence in educational processes. Based in Haren, Wolkenzauber Alpakas offers families and other participants an opportunity to enjoy meaningful experiences with these distinctive animals.
