Welcome to Women and Families Center (WFC), a leading brand serving Connecticut communities with programs designed to build strong families now and in the future. Established in 1889 as the YWCA of Meriden, WFC has since evolved into a multi-faceted human service agency providing comprehensive support throughout Middlesex County and the Greater New Haven area. At WFC, we are committed to promoting equity and improving quality of life through a range of services that foster empowerment and independence.
Our programs include Sexual Assault Crisis Services (SACS) to assist survivors, Before and After School programs for children, transitional living programs, employment training, and RISE programs for high school students.
