## Description

The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) is a pivotal organization dedicated to promoting gender equality in Nigeria through comprehensive research, policy advocacy, and strategic partnerships. With a clear mission to enhance women's representation in government, NWTF actively addresses the alarming underrepresentation of women in political leadership—currently holding only 4.8% of elected positions, despite making up over half of the population.

The Fund focuses on empowering women across various sectors by offering mentorship, training, and advocacy initiatives. Key programs include Voter Education and Election Observation, Young Women Mentorship, and Support for Female Politicians, all aimed at dismantling the barriers that limit women's full participation in society.

By fostering collaborations and driving impactful research, NWTF amplifies women's voices and cultivates an inclusive society. Their commitment to policy reform and community engagement represents a concerted effort to shape Nigeria's political landscape towards equality, making the NWTF an essential ally in building a more equitable future for all women in Nigeria.
