WomenGetIT is a brand that aims to address the lack of diversity in the technology industry by connecting local IT leaders with future tech talent and providing them with mentorship and support. In 2015, the founders had a conversation with a Nashville CTO who expressed their struggle in hiring female technology talent, as less than 10 percent of their IT team was made up of women. Realizing that this was a common issue, WomenGetIT was created to provide a solution.
