## Description

The Women in Law Initiative is an international organization connecting female legal professionals and male allies from around the world. It promotes discussion, professional relationships, and recognition of women’s achievements in the legal field through conferences, publications, and awards. Its flagship event, the Women in Law Conference, brings participants together for keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking. The 2026 conference is scheduled for September 10–12 at the University of Vienna in Austria, with four in-depth discussion tracks addressing topics such as women’s rights, backlash against equality, male allyship, and gender equality in the age of artificial intelligence. The initiative also presents the annual Justitia Awards, celebrating the achievements and impact of women in the legal profession, and publishes the Women in Law Journal. Its website offers conference tickets, program and speaker information, membership details, a newsletter, award updates, and sponsorship opportunities. By convening legal professionals and allies internationally, the initiative provides a platform to exchange ideas, share experience, and advance conversations about equity in law.
