About
Description
The Women's Forum of New York is a prestigious network of over 500 top female leaders from various professions and industries. Founded in 1974 by civic leader Elinor Guggenheimer, along with Muriel Siebert, Eleanor Holmes Norton, and Muriel Fox, the Women's Forum is dedicated to bringing together accomplished women and providing them with an impactful platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Membership in the Women's Forum is by invitation only, with candidates nominated by current members who are recognized as leaders in their fields and passionate about advancing women's success.
As a diverse organization, the Women's Forum seeks to reflect the broad range of industry, age, and race/ethnicity of women leaders in the New York area. The Membership Committee thoroughly reviews candidates, and approval by the Board of Directors is required before an invitation to join is extended. Regular gatherings and events provide opportunities for candidates to connect with each other and learn more about the Forum.
With a strong leadership team consisting of accomplished individuals from various industries, including Pamela J. Craig, Stephanie Mehta, and Sherry Williams, the Women's Forum is a dynamic community focused on empowering women and promoting their professional achievements. Whether through their Education Fund, Corporate Board Initiative, or various programs, the Women's Forum of New York is dedicated to supporting and advancing women in their careers
