# Women's History Network - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `womenshistorynetwork.org` ## Description The Women’s History Network (WHN) is a UK national association and charity dedicated to promoting women’s history and welcoming everyone interested in the subject. Established in 1991, it brings together working historians, researchers, independent scholars, teachers, librarians and members of the wider public. The organisation describes itself as inclusive and celebrates diversity, supporting engagement with women’s history both within academia and beyond. WHN offers opportunities to connect, learn and share research through its annual conference, seminars, talks, events and discussion list. It publishes Women’s History Today, a journal combining peer-reviewed academic work with a broader range of features, and provides access to past issues and an index of articles. Its website also hosts news, blogs, event announcements and calls for papers. The network supports historians and educators through resources for teachers, a schools history prize, book, community history and dissertation prizes, and information about fellowships and grants. Membership is available, and members can access benefits such as journal content and priority seminar booking. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/women-s-history-network) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/WomensHistNet) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idPqYWzqKv/w/170/h/170/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1721421208751) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Royal Purple | #7030a0 | accent | | Tundora | #404040 | dark | | Goldenrod | #ffcb70 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Droid Serif — asset _(custom)_ ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idPqYWzqKv/w/768/h/512/idGV4-wFFJ.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791069130887) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
