## Description

The Wong-Baker FACES Foundation, established in 2009, is dedicated to maintaining the integrity and efficacy of the Wong-Baker FACES® Pain Rating Scale, a widely used tool for pain self-assessment around the globe. As advocates for excellence in pain care and atraumatic care, the foundation aims to provide universal access to their innovative scale, promoting optimal pain assessment and management practices. Through licensing partnerships, they collaborate with healthcare organizations, educators, and researchers, impacting pain care worldwide, including notable studies conducted on the International Space Station. The foundation offers a variety of resources, such as instructional guides, FAQs, and a pain relief log, to support users at different levels, from healthcare providers to students. Additionally, they engage the community through podcasts and educational materials, furthering awareness of the importance of effective pain management. With a commitment to honoring the legacy of Dr. Donna Wong, the Wong-Baker FACES Foundation continues to evolve and enhance the future of pain care.
